Love Of My Life (Kaytradamus Remix) by Erykah Badu

Here I got you a dope Kaytradamus remix. Came across this from Soulection's picks and seeing that Erykah Badu name on the title, I just had to check it out. Kay sets his producer talents on Erykah Badu's "Love Of My Life" and it's good. Really good.

Two Hours (RAC Mix) by Theme Park

Our favorite collective of remixers are back again, this time with their take on Theme Park’s “Two Hours.” André Allen Anjos is the man in charge, adding his signature warmth to the original. RAC really has proven over and over that they are the official masters of "indie-remix" these days and this is just another bullet among the numerous quality remixes made. The last half of the mix is especially good so you know to check it.

SpottieOttieDopalicious (Nacey Remix) by Outkast

Outkast is one of the best hip-hop/acts of all time and it is sacred ground to do a remix of one of their classic tracks unless you really bring a new approach. DC producer Nacey reworks Outkast’s thirteen year old track “Spottieottiedopalicious.” He layers a vocal-house sheet on Andre and Big Boi’s legacy and adds a tambourine induced kick.

The effort is certainly of high praise and the result is really not bad at all, but the extraction of those legendary horns from the original leaves the finished product very questionable to say the least. Fresh but questionable. You be the judge.

Reasons (Radio Edit) by Project 46

"Reasons" is the new club banger from Project 46. This is the kind of track that if you close your eyes your taken to a mosh pit with a light show blasting your face off. The vocal talent comes from our man Andrew Allen. This is the first electronic track we have heard him paired up with, but It’s a nice change up and he kills it. (via The Eargazm)

Call Out Epic (Kaskade Mash-Up) by Kaskade vs. Sandro Silva & Quintino

There aren’t too many artists out there who mash-up their own tracks. But, Kaskade is an exception. This isn’t the first time, and I doubt it’ll be the last. In his cross-hairs this time is Sandro Silva & Quintino’s “Epic,” which has been smooshed together with Kaskade’s own “Call Out” off his album Dynasty. The result? Hit play.(via Indie Shuffle)

I Wish I Never Met You (Azari & III Remix) by Sam Sparro

Sam Sparro will release his new single "I Wish I Have Never Met You" on the 4th of June. The single is the first to be taken from his forthcoming sophomore album, Return To Paradise (released on 11th June). We’re not sure what "Happiness" was, but it would seem that it was the first single for the Australian market.

"I Wish I Have Never Met" might not be a instant disco bomb like "Happiness," but with a remix from Azari & III, it’s sure to get some club traction. (via Harder Blogger Faster)

Video: Carmen by Lana del Rey

Freshly uploaded to the web this weekend comes a new video for "Carmen," a song from Born To Die. The video has the same home-produced pieced-together format that the likes of "Video Games" and "Kinda Outta Luck" possessed and reminds those of us who appreciate Lana Del Rey of what engaged us both musically and visually about her art in the first place. After the overwhelming success of their collaboration "Zero 76," Tiësto and Hardwell join forces once again, this time to remix the massive electro-pop anthem, "Young Blood" from up-and-comers The Naked And Famous

The already catchy tune becomes unavoidably infectious with Tiësto and Hardwell's expert blend of their individual styles, perfectly suited for big room and festival stages. Featured on Tiësto's upcoming "Club Life - Volume Two Miami," "Young Blood" is now primed for dance music fans to enjoy well into the summer.

The Veldt (feat. Chris James) by Deadmau5

Deadmau5 is making waves on the internet with the release of his new track, "The Veldt." The grassy plains of Southern Africa are known as the veldt, and the rushing momentum of the track and references to "beating sun" and "outside the lions run" give the song lyrical warmth, but the title more likely refers to the 1950 Ray Bradbury book, "The Veldt" which was published originally as "The World the Children Made." This song seems perfect for a long drive in the summer sun, although it's far more likely to be played in a dark warehouse to tons of joyful dancers, according to our hip friends.

Rolling Stones T-Shirt by Dada Life

Dada Life’s “Rolling Stones T-Shirt” has long been a staple in the duo’s live sets, and we were starting to worry it would never see an official release. Thankfully, the track is finally here, and summer can now officially begin. This is the perfect Vegas pool party track: Dada’s signature electro synth and a thick bassline, not to mention the ideal drunk sing-a-long lyrics. (via Dancing Astronaut)

"Inside World" is the latest single from WhoMadeWho which is off their fourth album, Brighter. Red Line by Wolfgang Gartner

Wolfgang Gartner is back with yet another progressive anthem for your eardrums. Although it is not as complex as many of his previous originals, “Red Line” has a fun, ravey melody and some decent driving rhythms. Light Me Up (GRUM Remix) by Lonsdale Boys Club

Lonsdale Boys Club are a pop trio that hail from West London. I’m not the best at knowing pop acts, so I can’t really say much more about them or do an image with a joke. I do know GRUM though and I’m pretty sure this is the first remix he’s done in ages. He’s returned with a slightly slicker (and a bit more commercial) disco-pop sound for this remix. He is also the UK’s answer to something, Oliver. Although, GRUM came before Oliver. So Oliver best watch their backs. GRUM is coming back to take the non-slow-disco crown. Summers Down by Blue Boats

Fresh from facing up to "The Fear," Oliver Gale’s sparkly bedroom project Blue Boats have emerged with a new, fearless approach, free of self-doubt and focused on providing the kind of reverb-addled pop that we still can’t pretend to dislike. "Summers Down" is firmly rooted in the kind of synth-bleeping, shimmering optimism that many a cynic would turn a blind eye to. While it might not shatter a hater’s expectations, it’s intensely likeable; suitable for balmy evenings we dream of having when the English heat comes back. (via MUSIC FAN'S MIC)

Remixes can be precarious things in my book. Why take a song that is already brilliant and fuck with it?! Fortunately for St. Lucia, they are in good hands with Viceroy.

Radiohead fanatics, don’t fret. Perfect in its highs and lows, Tensnake has successfully made a great song viable for the modern dance floor. (via Indie Shuffle)

Only The Horses (Calvin Harris Extended Mix) by Scissor Sisters

For some reasons, I am not too fussed about the new Scissor Sisters single “Only The Horses”. The band roped in producer-of-the-moment Calvin Harris for the collaboration, and his signature sound is all over it but Scissor’s. This could have been a Mika track even! I don’t know if this is their attempt to conquer the (UK) chart again, or just the safe for-the-masses one to pave the album sales the way “Fire With Fire” was? Maybe some extra bits and bobs from the extended mix may sway your opinion? (via Pop Labyrinth)

Preview: Video Games (LA Riots & GTA Remix) by Lana del Rey

Brooklyn-based singer / songwriter Lana Del Rey tells the kinds of sad stories in her songs that remind us of love lost and old friends. As one of the brightest stars in the “sad core” scene, Del Rey’s voice carries us along through the bad times to the good ones waiting just over the horizon. Her single “Video Games” is brought to new life by remixers GTA from Miami and LA Riots of, well, LA. She’s been linked to YG and has been seen hanging with T.I. in Atlanta. But to be honest the most shocking thing about Iggy is definitely the fact that she’s white and can spit with such ferocity. I haven’t even heard many black guys in recent years who can top her. She’s new on the US scene and her latest EP Ignorant Art isn’t super polished but I really like what I’ve heard so far.
