Mixtape: The Remixtape II by Aylen
When Aylen first really caught my eye, he was releasing his first Remixtape. Now, he’s on his second of his Remixtapes, and his progression as an artist is apparent–I’ve said it again and again, the kid just keeps getting better.
One thing I really love about his music is his ability to cover such diverse ranges of music. It’s not often that you see an electronic artist whose remixing repertoire spans the likes of Regina Spektor to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Ellie Goulding. He puts a very unique twist on each song–every record he releases is thoroughly reimagined and reworked, and I have to credit him for that. It’s truly impressive to be able to flip such a wide range of genres, infusing your own unique sound into every track.
This is the kind of tape you can play continuously throughout without skipping any songs–through this on at a party this weekend and see how well it works. Trust me, you’ll be killing it on the DJing and you won’t have to change the song even once. (via Sunset In The Rearview)

What Am I Doing Here? Part 1 (Aylen Remix) by Chicane
Young and aspiring producer, Aylen has truly outdone himself with this new remix. Inspired by the brand new album, Thousand Mile Stare, from British musician Nicholas Bracegirdle a.k.a. Chicane, this new remix is absolutely sensational and hits you in all the right places.
Wayne Brady by Aylen
Says Aylen:
"Unfortunately my Soundcloud is going to be terminated this coming week and so I hope you will take the time to follow my Facebook page as that will be the best way to keep track of my new tunes. With that being said I will be offering this track for download tomorrow on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/djaylen) Thanks for all the support you guys have given me thus far!"
In My Mind (Aylen & Xristo Remix) by Axwell, Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl
If you thought New Jersey-based Aylen was doing some quality remix work before, then you will be even more impressed after listening to this latest one. He has recently teamed up with Xristo to create their own unique take on one of the biggest releases of the year, "In My Mind," and it definitely does not disappoint. It features the irresistible vocals of the epic original combined with a newly engineered hard-hitting electro drop. Great alternative for those that prefer their tracks with some extra heat. Fire! Somebody To Love (Aylen Remix) by Rusko
Andrew Lim or, Aylen has been featured on the site multiple times, and every time, he has done nothing but kill his tracks. This kid can remix anything and everything, and they all flat out bang. Aylen will have a huge 2012 due to his funky-electro style and his awesome ability to remix huge tracks no matter what genre they are in.
Rusko's "Somebody To Love" surviving the transformation to moombahton. Melody or vocal-driven tracks often sound warped and unnatural at 110 bpm, but Aylen just pulled it off spectacularly.
Can't Stop Me (Aylen Remix) by Afrojack & Shermanology
After the original mix just being released, Aylen braves the remix scene and blesses us with his version of Afrojack & Shermanology's monstrosity of a tune, "Can't Stop Me Now." It maybe a different approach to the song but quality-speaking, none was lost.
This version adding some minor distortion, along with some seriously cool electro additions that’ll make you cup your ear, and tilt your head toward the speakers.
Summit (Aylen Remix) by Skrillex
Been a while since we last heard from the New Jersey electro remixer, Aylen. He too is back with a new remix from a recent by Skrillex and Ellie Goulding with "Summit." A lot of remixes have surfaced out there but this one stood out.
The original, part of Skrillex's Bangarang EP, is pretty mellow and laid back. Aylen, however, turns up the tempo adding massive basslines and charging it with the right amount of electro after its drop. No wonder this kid's raking up popularity!
Says Aylen:
"Always wanted to remix Skrillex.. felt this track was perfect because of the mellow feel. Great track but a little soft for raging too and Ellie’s vocals definitely needed to be there more."

Don't Give Up On Us (Enough Is Enough) (feat. Yolanda Selini) by Avicii
Can't get enough of Avicii? Here is an unreleased production that was tipped to me by a DJ friend (@3milangeles), which I also found floating around the www. Title doesn't look legit, considering there are a whole lot of tracks floating and posting as productions from Avicii, but this one sure is (according to a number of blog sites).
Although this track is Avicii-made, I'm not yet feeling the vocals so much by Yolanda Selini. But knowing his work, it always grows on you. Everything else is nothing but awesome. What started out with his live sets is now making its way to the blog world. Soon enough, everywhere, just like "Levels." Expect a blow-up once this track is officially released.
Bonus Download:
Aylen, the DJ/producer that just finished up work on a collaboration with NYC’s ThatMoment, and the resulting tune is a bass heavy, craftily produced remix of Avicii's "Don't Give Up On Us."
Blessed (Aylen Remix) by Avicii
Here is a dope remix from another one of them new breeds. Aylen's version of house golden boy, Avicii's "Blessed." Not too much changes on this one. The original was kept intact and the elements were preserved. What did Aylen add to it? Only the awesome bangin' electro beats that drops first in the 1:32 mark. Not bad at all!
