Hell Yeah! by Tiësto & Showtek

Fresh off the release of his legendary album, Club Life — Volume Two Miami, the flying dutchman is back on his grind. This new release, out yesterday on Tiësto’s musical freedom label, pairs with another Dutch duo, Showtek, who bring a heavier techno sound and “Fuck The System” type of attitude that has attracted Tiësto for years. These guys don’t hit the commercial side of EDM too often, but man their sound is raw and worth checking out. For optimal listening, plug this bad boy into good speakers with heavy bass. Bring That Beat Back (Tiësto Edit) by AutoErotique

Tiësto is simply unstoppable as he continues his dominance of EDM regardless of the genre he decides to tackle. Though this is simply an edit from Tiesto on the track from AutoErotique, who deserves most of the credit for song, Tiesto brings it to new heights. This song hits hard with a big electro drop, pounding bass, and pulsing synths. Musical Freedom is a label that is on the up and up under the leadership of Tiesto and will be making some serious noise this year. (via FreshNewTracks)

Documentary: Porter Robinson's Tiësto College Invasion Tour 2011

US-based producer Porter Robinson just put up a mini-documentary he has filmed during his tour with Tiësto for his College Invasion Tour for this year.

Robinson, who is only 19 years of age, is part of the long list of up and comers trying to share to everyone their experiences with a video camera as their weapon of choice. Ah yes, good ol' sex, drugs and rock and roll... If only I was still his age (not that I'm old already). His rise originated to his signing with OWSLA Skrillex label and his debut with Spitfire EP shooting up the charts all the way to #1.

The First Note Is Silent (Tiësto Remix) by High Contrast feat. Tiësto & Underworld

After the official release of High Contrast's impressive visuals of "The First Note Is Silent" a few weeks back, surfaces an official remix by co-producer, Tiësto.

Listening to the track just won't do it justice. Obviously not anthem material and definitely not of the banger category because it was made specifically not to be one. Tiësto went out of his way for this one, offering us with a much heavier approach to the track. Deep, mysterious and highlighting more on Underworld's vocals. Quite lengthy compared to the original but a more intimate listen.

Video: The First Note Is Silent (feat. Tiësto & Underworld) by High Contast

Probably the biggest collaboration of the year, an awesome team-up between Welsh drum & bass producer, High Contrast, and UK legends Tiësto and Underworld all together in a single release called "The First Note Is Silent."

After three years in hiding, he unleashes a monster track with three different genres, three different styles and three different outputs to form a perfect force to be reckoned with. Not bad for a come back.

"The First Note Is Silent" will be the first single from High Contrast new album, which is due out February 2012 on Hospital. The track is a superb demonstration of his ear for a good hook bringing in the talents of stadium trance maestro Tiesto and legendary UK electronic outfit Underworld.

Expect soaring, feel-good synths with the uplifting rush of Tiestos trademark trance, euphoric piano keys, pounding drums and yearning polished vocals from Karl Hyde in The First Note Is Silent, gelled together in with the expansive widescreen production for which High Contrast has become known."
