Toronto rapper D.O. (Defy the Odds) released his debut album, The Northstarr, back in 2007. Now there's a few songs on there with fellow Canadian, Slakah The Beatchild, and "No Matter What" is definitely a slept on gem. "Wanna Do" is a mellow head-nodder that fits right onto the soul table that Slakah The Beatchild set with that previous album as he sings to his lady that all that he wants to do involves her or actually is her. This is the second batch of dope that Slakah has cooked-up just this year alone, after dropping "The Other Side of Tomorrow" with his side project The Slakadeliqs in January. Soul Movement Vol. 2 will be coming later this year, but "Wanna Do" will tide us over nicely until then, especially with a free download that you can grab from his SoundCloud page. (via Soul Bounce)
