Oui Got It Wrong (Xaphoon Jones Bootleg) by St. Lucia & Madeon
Xaphoon Jones is giving us a first taste off his forthcoming mixtape, XJV3, with a bright and shiny mash-up blending St. Lucia’s “We Got It Wrong” with Madeon’s “Que Veux Tu” featuring Yelle. The track is titled "Oui Got It Wrong" and not too sound like a broken record, it is yet another amazing playful track for the summer.
Closer Than This (Viceroy Remix) by St. Lucia
Viceroy music is back and this time he’s got a remix of St. Lucia’s “Closer Than This." It’s got the usual tropical feel that we’ve come to love and is another perfect summer jam that I expect to be blasting out of my speakers for at least the next few weeks. Remixes can be precarious things in my book. Why take a song that is
already brilliant and fuck with it?! Fortunately for St. Lucia, they are
in good hands with Viceroy.

Foster The People plus St. Lucia is a match made in musical heaven. Given St. Lucia‘s uncanny ability at perfecting warm, chill, caribbean synths you would expect their remix of "Don’t Stop" to mellow down the wonderfully danceable track and add warm glowing synths. Well then you would be like me, and you would be COMPLETELY wrong! We Got It Wrong (Xaphoon Jones Remix) by St. Lucia
South African electronic artist St. Lucia has had one of his hit tracks, "We Got Wrong," remixed by none other than Xaphoon Jones, one half of Philly rap duo Chiddy Bang. Taking a leaf out of chillwave’s book, this reworking is glitchy, with joyous handclaps delivering a contrasting rhythm. Add in some vibrant vocal samples and powerhouse synths, and you have "We Were Wrong" gone dancefloor filler. Let this tropical-infused track warm you up this winter. Found a new remix a few days ago and forgot to post it. Track by St. Lucia and their song "The Old House Is Gone." Accountable for this remix are the boys from The Knocks via their Heavy Roc Music. The original well-edited to accommodate the disco beats and turn it into a club treasure. A simple production resulting to perfection.
