Video: Wildfire (Live at Coachella) by SBTRKT
Now that the first week of Coachella 2012 has finally wrapped up, you can start expect even more videos to surface of live performances that many may have missed to start trickling online. For this post we bring you the visuals of SBTRKT taking the Coachella stage and playing "Wildfire," the globally successful collaboration with Little Dragon's Yukimi Nagano. The song was definitely a fan favorite during the set, and as it was accompanied with a live instrumentation. Check out the seven-minute long footage and enjoy. (via Hypetrak)

Video: Take Care & HYFR by Drake
Drake gives two for the price of one on a Saturday morning, dropping clips for “Take Care” and “HYFR” in succession. For the first, Drake linked up with his once-rumored paramore Rihanna for a second go-round of scintillating pop. But unlike the last collaboration, “What’s My Name?," which begs you to slowly drop it the floor, the Jamie XX-produced “Take Care” calls for more intimate gyrating. Appropriately, Drake and Rihanna spend a lot of the clip embracing each other—similar to Ciara and 50 Cent’s “Can’t Leave Em Alone” video but with a lot more clothing. There is other loveliness to behold, like the slo-mos of random wildlife dispersed throughout the video. But its beauty is no surprise, as sampling from Jamie XX and Gil Scott-Heron’s collaborative remix album inspired wonder in all of us in the first place.
To add more to his creative cache, the visual treatment for the Lil Wayne-featuring “HYFR” smashes our traditional notion of Rap Party Video, as Drake invites us to celebrate his bar mitzvah. (via The Fader)

Seems like Good Friday just got a little better. Early this morning Drake announced he would be releasing not one but two videos Friday. Fans of Drake have been eager to see his "Take Care" video featuring Rihanna, while his "HYFR" video features Lil Wayne.
What will have a bigger impact on the internet Drake's double dose of visuals or G.O.O.D. Music's "Mercy" single? We'll have to let the fans decide. (via The Source)
Round of Applause/Where My Money At? by A-Trak
Fresh off the red carpet at The Grammy's, A-Trak releases two free songs today on his Facebook page. "Round of Applause" features those familiar verses from Waka and Drake for a wild dance tune, while the second features some Kanye West and Jay-Z sampling, "Where My Money At." Crew Love (Shlohmo Remix) by Drake & The Weeknd
Last Friday, The Weeknd posted a video of the Shlohmo remix of "Crew Love" with the tagline "please release an official version." Two days later he got his wish, and looking at the Soundcloud stats, 14,000 people in 11 hours got theirs too. This is big. Very big.
News: G.O.O.D. vs. YMCMB
So it’s 2012. And things are getting weird. Biggie already taught us what beef really is, but we might need a refresher course, because the term rap “beef” in 2012 is almost as misused as the word “freestyle.” But here we are, and one of the most talked about things in mainstream hip-hop right now is the ongoing feud between—out of all rappers—Common and Drake. It’s hard to avoid, and face it: the shit is entertaining.
So Common upped the ante with the direct shots fired in the “Stay Schemin’” remix, and now everywhere he goes, he has to answer questions about this beef. And he does answer, because he’s Common, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy, when he’s not beefin’. In his latest Q&A with Chicago’s WGCI, he was asked if he’d need to round up a posse to square off with Birdman (who is staying out of it but said he’s riding with Drake no matter what) and the YMCMB crew, Common answered:
“If it had to get to teamin’ up, you know, I’d get my squad too. You know, you can’t forget G.O.O.D. Music, Kanye, and the brothers.”
Now, it’s all hypothetical, but this statement makes it impossible for us not to conjure up images of a crew beef between two of the most popular hip-hop conglomerates of our time. G.O.O.D. Music and YMCMB. (via Pigeons & Planes)
Rap & Bitches (feat. Drake) by 1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology)
A slick vocal sample from Drake’s standout Take Care track “Underground Kings” is the backbone of 1982′s new “Rap & Bitches.” Statik Selektah’s production alternates between piano chords and synths. Termanology adjusts his flow accordingly with two nice flossing verses. There’s some false advertising in this being a sample over an actual Drake feature, but the song is hot enough for that to be forgiven. (via Beats, Boxing and Mayhem)
Take Care Of U (Wait What Remix) by Gil Scott-Heron vs. Drake & Jamie xx
Surprising that it took this long for a remix/mash-up like this to surface. Difficult perhaps? Well, it doesn't matter now. The track is finally out and is now available for download. The entire track contains two cuts, one from the most recent "Take Care" by Drake & Jamie xx and the other cut from Gil Scott-Heron's "We're New Here." Pretty much well-made by Wait What, I'd say.

Take Care (ColeCo's Midnight Remix) by Florence + The Machine
So the story goes that the original by Drake featuring Rihanna and Jamie xx gets covered by Florence + The Machine live via Radio 1. Now, the story progresses as the cover gets a deep disco-house re-make by ColeCo. A pretty dope remix done by a reportedly Argentinian (?) production duo.
