Silent Shadows (Keljet Remix) by Don Diablo
We’ve been following Dutch outfit Keljet for a while now, enthralled by their nu disco finesse. Today we’re hearing their sound at the biggest stage at the festival in this high energy electro/nu disco/progressive remix of Don Diablo’s "Silent Shadows." (via REMIX86)
A Year (Keljet Remix) by Channel Cairo
Highly underrated, Keljet are producers that as soon as you take your eye off them, they come back into your line of vision with something spectacular. Guilty of doing that exact same thing, Keljet have garnered my attention once more with their brand-new, official remix for Channel Cairo‘s single “A Year.” Indie-dance mixed in with elements of Disco, Keljet rely heavily on the vocals and lyrics of the original to deliver a remix that is impossible to dance to without a smile on your face. Got To Be Down by Keljet
Keljet have truly done the impossible in resurrecting Brandy's "I Wanna Be Down" from out 1994’s cold but wet dungeons. Gathering the grand piano and soulful candles for a few more several renditions, Keljet raise another glass of brandy towards the night time aroma of housed up closeness. (via Aerial Noise)
UFO (Keljet's Hawaiian Remix) by Coldplay
I know a lot of Coldplay remixes have been put out there and most are club favorites and anthems respectively. Koen & Teun, the duo of Kelject, had something different in mind. A more warm and chilled-out mix was their "Hawaiian" take on Coldplay's "UFO," a cut from their latest Mylo Xyloto.
One of those tunes that just transports you back to that place of sun, sand and sea. A beautiful song to soundtrack this beautiful day. I sure hope it stays that way. Awesome job, Keljet! Mahalo!
Says Keljet:
"We loved the new Coldplay album so we wanted to remix a song from it. We
changed the feeling of this song to something more tropical, more fun."
Saturday Night by Keljet & Falcon Punch
A rather familiar sounding track was released a few days ago by Dutch disco producers, Keljet via Soundcloud. After only specializing in remixes, the Dutchmen finally made their original debut in collaboration with LA-DJ & producer, Falcon Punch, to create this funky nu-disco treat called "Satruday Night." Based on Oliver Cheatham's 1983 hit, "Get Down Saturday Night" and Room 5 a.k.a. Junior Jack's "Make Luv" featuring Oliver Cheatham. It is the new generation of delicious laid back, nu-disco music. Hope we hear more from this duo.
