Preview: City of Dreams by Alesso & Dirty South
Australian's biggest DJ/producer and Sweden’s youngest and most successful rising talent teamed-up for the first time and it was expected that they will form something huge. The track from Alesso & Dirty South was premiered at Creamfields a few weeks ago and was dropped also during the EDC at New York. It's a fresh sounding big-room house record combined with note-worthy vocals which gave the track a distinct perspective, offering a new sound we don’t usually hear from Dirty South.

Say hello to the first stomping tune of the week that will make you wish it was Friday again. This one comes in the remix format of Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso’s track "Calling" given the R3Hab and Swanky Tunes Chainsaw Madness Mix treatment. Chainsaw? This will definitely rip up the decks. There is literally no stopping Alesso at the moment. After completing the excellent remix of "Pressure," of late, perhaps its his ground-breaking take on "Titanium" which initiated him within every live set performance around the globe of late. As he continues to thrive, here he takes on one of his favourite groups in Keane, as he leans towards possibly his biggest remix to date, of their new single "Silenced By The Night." (via Zimbio)

Here comes the WMC bombs fresh from the weekend. Although Alesso dropped this new vocal mix for “Years” as part of his Radio 1 Essential Mix the other night, the slinging Swede did have this brand new mix in his Masquerade Motel set. Give your golden boy some ears with this one below.
Promised Pressure (DJ Rozz Re-Edit Extended Mix Version) by Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji vs. Armin van Buuren & Andain
A mash-up and re-edit put together originally by Armin van Buuren (which he never released a full version to the public) as heard on A State Of Trance. DJ Rozz basically hyping-it up more and making it mixer friendly for everyone to enjoy. Great job on the mash-up, Rozz. Good choice of vocals! Cheers!

What do you get when you cross a Grammy nominated mega producer, a break-though globetrotter that’s rising to the top and an über hot DJ-singer? You get "Alive," the stunning single by Dirty South and Thomas Gold. But what happens when Alesso gets added to the equation?
The track begins with the comforting, familiar vocals of Kate Elsworth. Soon into the song, the beat drops out to make room for a strong guitar melody, strumming away. In his usual fashion, Alesso makes the clean sound cleaner to distract your mind from a massive drop. Huge track, check off another one for the youngster. Enjoy! (via bouncebug)

Out with the old and in with the new. 2011 was an awesome year for EDM, music was everywhere and emerged the new breed of artists. Avicii & Alesso are among this new breed, very young and very talented. Names all over news, headlines and blogs. So what better way to start the new year with a team-up.
"The Rules Has Changed" is the new collaboration and was first dropped during New Year's Eve. Sounds grammatically unsound, right? But it is what it is and it is official. It maintains the same high energy and sound the two are well-known for. Great to see Avicii working with the finest.

Dreaming Of An Ibiza Christmas Mash-Up by Midnight Conspiracy

I'm pretty sure I heard this track drop last night during Avicii's set. Pittsburgh producer, N3AKO is preparing to release his new EP on December 19th. His latest release will represent the last leak of the upcoming EP. "Raise Your Epic" is actually a mash-up of Alesso's "Raise Your Head" and Dada Life's "Kick Out The Epic Motherf**er." A high on energy electro house mash-up track with some serious bass drops!
Calling (Clinton Sparks 'This is My Life Calling' Edit) by Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso
Here's what I think is a great edit of Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso's amazing anthem, "Calling." Adding extra vocals into the mix, Boston-based DJ/producer Clinton Sparks doing a good job pumping up the anthem factor up a notch. Although the 2:22 cut I did not like much, but the 4:48 vocals just made up for it. Chant along after this jump.

Let's start the Halloween weekend early with a massive drop by Alesso with "Raise Your Head." Although it is still in its preview stage, it has begun making big waves in the scene. Well-equiped with a spooky intro and build-up, heavy and dark synth lines and sinister drops of the bass. Perfect soundtrack for a night of fun trick-or-treating.
