I’ve got to be quite honest in saying that I was very skeptical as to the outcome of a glitch remix of one of my favorite Modest Mouse jams, “Float On," and to be frank, I was expecting K Theory to absolutely butcher the original, but that was not the case. In fact, the San Francisco dub-duo, K Theory managed to give the relaxing indie track an entire upbeat reworking, throwing in breaks, glitches, and bass throughout the song, giving it an entirely different feel while still maintaining the beauty of the original song. Video Games (Adrian Lux & Blende Remix) by Lana Del Rey
Was not expecting to like this remix as much as I do due to its countless numbers. But with names like Adrian Lux and Blende making its way in the title, I just had to give it a chance. Lana del Rey may have lost her hype a few months back but this funky electro-infused disco track just might make her relevant again. (via The Music Ninja)
Teenage Crime (Thomas Gold 2012 Rework) by Adrian Lux
Thomas Gold’s 2012 Rework of “Teenage Crime” is a very solid rework but I think Axwell & Henrik B's remode have still yet to be dethroned.
Preview: City of Dreams by Alesso & Dirty South
Australian's biggest DJ/producer and Sweden’s youngest and most successful rising talent teamed-up for the first time and it was expected that they will form something huge. The track from Alesso & Dirty South was premiered at Creamfields a few weeks ago and was dropped also during the EDC at New York. It's a fresh sounding big-room house record combined with note-worthy vocals which gave the track a distinct perspective, offering a new sound we don’t usually hear from Dirty South.
Love Cloud by XXYYXX
Soulful beatmaker XXYYXX has a new 2-track EP out now and for free. And as you may know, if you truly know his sound, DOLOR EP is an ambient beat piece. Just 2 tunes, that will surely make you float for hours.

Mercy (RL Grime & Salva Remix) by Kanye West
NYC producer RL Grime teams up with L.A producer Salva and they decide to flip the Kanye West single “Mercy” into a sirenlaced club banger that’s just one small step away from tearing up our speakers.
Video: Silhouettes (feat. Salem Al Fakir) by Avicii
Hot on the heels from the showcase of the flying feature of his new stage production and following on from its long overdue release, Avicii teams up with VEVO to release the official music video for his latest single, "Silhouettes." In an at the very least equally enigmatic manner as the music video for "Levels," the intricate storyline and occasionally humorous approach make for anything but just another music video.
With manager Arash Pournouri playing the part as the bartender, Avicii chopping up a cucumber and famed Swedish actor Kjell Bergqvist acting as the doctor in charge, this unique concoction of gender reassignment surgery and intense partying result in something worth sinking your teeth into. Here’s the clip for Passion Pit’s first Gossamer single “Take A Walk,” a video from the perspective of a world-traveling, bouncing blue ball.
Flexx by Wolfgang Gartner
Wolfgang Gartner returns to his heavier electro fashion with "Flexx," out today on Beatport. Following many more progressive releases, including his latest "Redline," Gartner promised an aggressive track that would cater to his older fans, and he delivered.
Fader (The Knocks Remix) (feat. Samuel) by The Temper Trap
A nice one-two punch from the NYC duo known as The Knocks. We’ve posted a couple of their tracks in the past, and these two don’t disappoint. “Fader” remixes The Temper Trap’s original jam, with the help from Samuel.
I'll Be Alright by Passion Pit
Up until a few weeks ago, Passion Pit had been quiet since releasing Manners in 2009, but since then they’ve announced their sophomore album Gossamer a single “Take A Walk," and today we get another new song.
Listen to “I’ll Be Alright,” the second single from Gossamer – it’s four and a half minutes completely stuffed with sound. Kids’ vocals, massive drum fills, stuttering samples, soaring vocals, ‘80s-style pulsating synth, phasers: you name it, it’s here. We’ve always loved Passion Pit’s maximalist style, but it’s especially interesting now that many electronic acts have chosen to pursue minimalism. Watch out for the chopped-and-screwed, dizzying sections that bookend the track. They’re fantastic. Gossamer is out July 23. (via PMA)
First Date by Toro y Moi
Chaz Bundick has been hard at work over the past few years releasing some amazing, genre-bending music for our fickle ears to consume. "First Date," a track off of Chaz’s 2010 EP Leave Everywhere seems to fall squarely in that category of music.
