I'll Be Alright by Passion Pit

Up until a few weeks ago, Passion Pit had been quiet since releasing Manners in 2009, but since then they’ve announced their sophomore album Gossamer a single “Take A Walk," and today we get another new song.

Listen to “I’ll Be Alright,” the second single from Gossamer – it’s four and a half minutes completely stuffed with sound. Kids’ vocals, massive drum fills, stuttering samples, soaring vocals, ‘80s-style pulsating synth, phasers: you name it, it’s here. We’ve always loved Passion Pit’s maximalist style, but it’s especially interesting now that many electronic acts have chosen to pursue minimalism. Watch out for the chopped-and-screwed, dizzying sections that bookend the track. They’re fantastic. Gossamer is out July 23. (via PMA)

Top Of The World (feat. Passion Pit) by Kenton Dunson

Couldn't agree more with Blahblahblahscience when they said that this was the best Kenton Dunson song yet. I personally believe that anything involving Passion Pit is the shit but that's just me. That distinct indie tune of The Reeling just brings you in. Doesn't it? Well I think indie and hip-hop together is just genius! This song, I believe, deserves the Twitter #onrepeat hashtag. Listen, repeat, and download song after the skip.
