Documentary: From A Mess To The Masses by Phoenix
Want to know more about how Phoenix broke through the international music scene? Director Antoine Wagner does with a documentary available for sharing to the whole world. His experience with the French quartet, following them around while they were on tour in support of the Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix album.
From A Mess To The Masses is the Wagner documentary that premiered on German Television last week via Arte Television. Wagner was also responsible for the Phoenix breakthrough single, "Lisztomania," the lyrics to which he got the title from. Imagine the end product for following a group for a whole year and documenting their every move and of course, their "meteoric jump from indie obscurity to headlining stadiums."
Update: Here is the trailer of the said documentary for now until the actual documentary is back up again for streaming.
All The Shine by Childish Gambino
A.N.T. from the very talented Childish Gambino. "All The Shine" is the rock-inspired second teaser to his debut album titled Camp which will be out along with other albums of multi-talents (Drake, Phoenix, Mumford & Sons). The lyrically phenomenal Gambino lowered his intensity a few notches on this one, compared to the intense flames of the "Bonfire," this one is more chill and more easy to appreciate. Another reason he is considered multi-talented.
