Video: Cudi The Kid by Steve Aoki, KiD CuDi & Travis Barker
If you’re terrified of clowns, nuns or hallucinogenic experiences, you may want to stay far, far from Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi and Travis Barker’s video for “Cudi The Kid." Everyone else, you’re in for a psychedelic treat! The dubstep-inspired track is reinterpreted through the eyes of each artist as young children, taking the viewer on a surreal trip back in time. Let the good times roll!
Dose Of Dopeness by Kid Cudi
Any longtime Kid Cudi fan is familiar with the story of the long-lost “Dose of Dopeness” track produced by Dot Da Genius, who produced Cudi’s entire new rock album WZRD. Recorded all the way back in 2008, “Dose of Dopeness” was a live favorite but was never fully finished and released. After countless delays and pushbacks, Dot Da Genius finally liberated the track via Twitter. It’s clearly classic Cudder with his old melodic, sing-songy flow and even features him rapping about how underground his music is. WZRD will be out February 28th. (via Lost In The Sound)
Ride 4 U (feat. KiD CuDi & Chip The Ripper) by Far East Movement
Far East Movement collaborates with KiD CuDi x Chip Tha Ripper on the track “Ride 4 U”. Although it seems like an unlikely combo, the sound that these guys came up with is mesmerizing. It’s a laidback track with a nice chill vibe. Find out what it means when someone rides for you (via Channel APA).
Cudi The Kid (feat. KiD CuDi & Travis Barker) by Steve Aoki
DJ and producer Steve Aoki bringing together the best of not two but three worlds by mashing together electronic, rock and hip-hop into his latest genre-defying release "Cudi The Kid," part also of his latest album called Wonderland.
It features KiD CuDi's signature melodic flow and relentless percussions from Travis Barker to accompany the usual electrified Aoki production. Bass heavy is what this track aims for.
Teleport 2 Me by WZRD (Kid CuDi & Dot Da Genius)
This will be the first official and the second single from the upcoming debut album by WZRD.
“Teleport 2 Me” is a follow-up to their first called "Brake" and it is here temporarily in snippet form. Basing from what we have now, we can tell that this is vintage Cudder and we can't wait to hear more from WZRD. So far so good, can't wait to hear the album in full.
Brake by WZRD (Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius)
Kid Cudi going rock with a project he is doing with Dot Da Genius which they will be calling WZRD under Wicked Awesome Records. The self-titled debut is set to drop the 30th of January, Cudder's birthday.
"Brake" is the first production under WZRD and it offers a stoner-rock cruncher straight out of the 70's, with heavy riffs, pounding drums, and a flute providing the soundtrack for Cudi’s laidback vocals (via CoS).
Video: Maniac (feat. Kid Cudi) by Shia LaBeouf
The man from the moon, Kid Cudi, drops off a treat just in time for Halloween. Well, a post-Halloween treat for us here in the Metro. A horror short directed by former Even Stevens star, Shia LaBeouf. Imagine him from a Disney teen character to a visual genius... Props to you, Shia!
"Maniac" is the title of the above horror short and it is inspired by the Man Of The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager record of the same name. The 10-minute clip released exactly for Halloween purposes. Like most horror flicks, the film follows Cudi and Cage, two serial killers wreaking havoc and terror to the people of Detroit while brushing on some French. All exploits documented of course. Music perfectly translated to the form of visual art. "Maniac" streaming after the skip.
"Paint the black hole blacker."
Bigger Than You (Prod. Emile) by Kid Cudi
Although being busy with another gig with "How To Make It In America," Kid Cudi still manages to squeeze in something to highlight his ability to make music. Well, he is sort of back and he is reminding us to always be "Bigger Than You."
An unreleased track dating back to 2007 which he formulated along with Emile, Cudder's co-manager and the man responsible for most of the production credits on his successful LP. Laid down back in 2007, the song was originally tagged to serve as the opening to Man on The Moon: The End of Day, but due to a premature leak things were reworked and the cut got, well… cut. Today, the mastered version surfaces and and makes a cut back to the airwaves.

After days of searching, I finally was able to locate a working link of the very first mixtape of the hit comedy series, "How To Make It In America." It won't be right to post a volume 2 without the first one, correct? So this is me trying to catch-up, again.
