Mixtape: Axtone Presents Thomas Gold
Thomas Gold has long been a well respected DJ and producer in the EDM scene. He was pretty consistent and pretty under the radar for a couple of years now, but 2012 seems like the year he hits the mainstream, having released "Sing2Me," which went number 1 on Beatport. He starred brightly in Ultra and recently in EDC, and now he has come out with his debut compilation on Axtone Records, the prominent and ever successful label by Axwell. The release spans 33 tracks on 2 CDs, and features a whole gamut of releases on the Axtone imprint, of course all with some very nice touches by Mr. Gold.

In My Mind (Aylen & Xristo Remix) by Axwell, Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl
If you thought New Jersey-based Aylen was doing some quality remix work before, then you will be even more impressed after listening to this latest one. He has recently teamed up with Xristo to create their own unique take on one of the biggest releases of the year, "In My Mind," and it definitely does not disappoint. It features the irresistible vocals of the epic original combined with a newly engineered hard-hitting electro drop. Great alternative for those that prefer their tracks with some extra heat. Fire! In My Mind (Axwell Mix) by Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl
I have a feeling this track will dominate the club airwaves as soon as it gets released (tomrrow?). Already scattered across the web, this monster already has so much hype and attention under its belt. For now, we settle for the long preview of the cut by Axwell called "In My Mind" by rising stars Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl from Swedish House Mafia's set at Madison Square Garden. Are you ready?
Together (Thand Remix) by Axwell & Sebatisan Ingrosso
Thand is a Swedish electro-house producer who just put-up his version of an Axwell & Ingrosso classic in "Together." The remix starts out with the usual stuff, beats and basslines, but then breaks down with the original vocals which then follows-through with his signature stuff... Not bad, not bad at all. Thand actually incorporating some very interesting synths in there, which automatically makes it a pretty good production in my opinion. Bravo!
Seek Bromance (Axwell Vocal Bootleg) by Tim Berg
Now this is what I'm talking about. The real stuff. The good stuff. A classic Tim Berg track that will always remind me of how he was before Avicii. A track that will forever stick, no matter what happens, it will always be a Tim Berg production and not Avicii. Not saying the new stuff sucks, don't get me wrong. The new stuff is awesome but the old was something different and it still is every time I give it a listen.
Axwell taking the track for a spin with his vocal bootleg of this beautiful track called "Seek Bromance." A genius for a genius. The perfect representation why it's called as it is.
