So we are back to the basics: counting. And while the new Laidback Luke track "1234" featuring collaborations with Chuckie and Martin Solveig might have dull, simplistic vocals, the actual beat is massive! Huge, overlapping synths with energetic note progressions, grueling heart-pumping bass and an array of glitches and frequency stretching. (via The Music Ninja)

A freshly released rework from Martin Solveig featuring the original and A-Trak’s remix but this time without the intense second drop.
Preview: The Night Out (Madeon Remix) by Martin Solveig
On the heels of his latest single “Icarus,“ Madeon returns to the scene with a brand new re-fix of the Martin Solveig single “The Night Out.” In contrast to the original track, which has a slower vibe with looping guitar riffs to it, Madeon’s rendition is an upbeat electro track with his signature synth treatment. Night Out (A-Trak Remix) by Martin Solveig
Instead of just releasing your typical single, Martin Solveig is readying (due out in April) an entire EP for his track "The Night Out," which originally appears on his fifth studio album Smash. Said EP will feature various remixes of the track. One of those reworkings was handled by esteemed Montreal DJ A-Track. (via The NJ Underground)

Video: Big In Japan (feat. Dragonette & Idoling!!!) by Marting Solveig
I think I've found it! The only song to be able to replace the smash hit, "Hello" by Martin Solveig. Who better to top the song's success than the man who created it in the first place.
He's back and this time he's "Big In Japan!" The tune was dropped about a month ago and now the official visuals are out. Same crew with Dragonette (also on Hello) but with a new addition. You know how big he is in Japan? He manages to round-up Idoling!!!, a popular group of cute girls who perform in variety shows on a regular basis. I love Japanese girls!
Sunday Girl
Jade Williams, a British-model/dream-pop singer, is part of a new batch of up-and-coming artists who is performing under the name, Sunday Girl. She has actually been around the scene for a while now with a few releases under her name. Her debut "Four Floors" who caught Diplo's attention for a remix, "Self-Control" a Laura Branigan cover as her second and a third called "Stop Hey" which was released earlier this year.
Being under the radar for months, she announces her latest effort, "Love U More," a Sunscreem 1992 classic. Also, a new album being brewed wherein she was able to work again with Diplo, UK's Jim Elliot, and according to her is now getting treatment from a good friend named Martin Solveig.
This new direction in dance music is doing great for her. Not a full-on dance takeover but borderline indie and pop to give it that euphoric fusion. Check it!
Although the original is almost perfect and impossible to improve upon, I have for you an exclusive remix by the Remix Artist Collective which should be an honor in her part. Once you hear this one, you will right away notice how girly the original is and that this one tops it instantly. Funky fresh beats to deliver bad news in the lyrics in a way oh so sweet.
“Let the sky fall down. Let the leaves turn brown. Still you know you can never make me love you more.”
