"Yesterday (feat. Guilty Simpson, Fatima & Olivier Daysoul)" is a cut from Eric Lau's upcoming project called The Mission EP.

Says Eric Lau:

The track also features bassist Alex Bonfanti vibing with Lau's heavy drums, with Simpson's lyrics reminiscing on his upbringing in 1980's Detroit and the challenges he had to overcome as a consequence. The track is available to stream prior to the full EP release on February 3rd 2012.

Featuring the rough and real raps of Detroit's baritone badman Guilty Simpson are soulfully balanced by a Eric Lau's smooth silvery piano sample, and the harmonies of Fatima of ODS on chorus duties. 48hrs, 4200 plays and 40 some comments at the time of writing, and the ppl have spoken: dope. It's been a long time coming but UK-based DJ Eric Lau is back and he gets another chance to work with Detroit's finest, Guilty Simpson, for his most recent release, "The Mission." It will be part of an upcoming project, a finale for the year of 2011 which will drop in less than a wee via Kilawatt Music.

We get the same Lau feel on this one, Eric Lau 101. Feel good and super smooth. Very easy to listen to. Stream the beat after the skip.
