Was not expecting to like this remix as much as I do due to its countless numbers. But with names like Adrian Lux and Blende making its way in the title, I just had to give it a chance. Lana del Rey may have lost her hype a few months back but this funky electro-infused disco track just might make her relevant again. (via The Music Ninja)
Lana's Theme by Flosstradamus
Today Flosstradamus, the stage name of Chicago-based DJs J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci), surprised us with what we thought would be an unassuming remix of Lana Del Rey. We could not have been more misguided. Leave it to the 30 second mark for Flosstradamus to flip things around into an addictive and refreshing trap beat that although independent, it organically combines with Mrs Del Ray soothing vocals to produce one coherent track. Freshly uploaded to the web this weekend comes a new video for "Carmen," a song from Born To Die. The video has the same home-produced pieced-together format that the likes of "Video Games" and "Kinda Outta Luck" possessed and reminds those of us who appreciate Lana Del Rey of what engaged us both musically and visually about her art in the first place. Brooklyn-based singer / songwriter Lana Del Rey tells the kinds of sad stories in her songs that remind us of love lost and old friends. As one of the brightest stars in the “sad core” scene, Del Rey’s voice carries us along through the bad times to the good ones waiting just over the horizon. Her single “Video Games” is brought to new life by remixers GTA from Miami and LA Riots of, well, LA. John Mayer might have destroyed his vocal chords, but don’t let that stop him from coming up with an emotionally charged cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Videogames." Don’t get me wrong, I’m as sick of the remixes and covers of “Videogames” as the next guy but this is totally different. Mayer puts on a pure guitar clinic here, capturing the dark and gloomy vibe that made the original so captivating to begin with. No voice needed. (via The Chuckness)
Blue Jeans (RAC Remix) by Lana Del Rey
As I’m sure you already know, Lana Del Rey has been remixed by everyone! In fact, my grandmother is putting out a remix of her track “Video Games” later this week. But all jokes aside, we began to notice that out of the list of all these remixes, one particular group of producers weren’t on it: RAC. How did that manage to happen? I don’t know. You think RAC would be the first ones given the opportunity to remix one of her tracks. Despite happening later than expected, our favorite collective of remixers have finally taken a crack at vamping up one of the songstresses’ tracks. Along with producers such as Kris Menace, Moonlight Matters, and Gesaffelstein, RAC have elected to edit her provocative song “Blue Jeans.” (via Golden Scissors)

Are you familiar with Urban Noize and their mixes? If you said no, I bet you’ve heard the Jay-Z and Adele mix they did called "Won’t Go Wishing" which was featured a while back. To say they’ve got the knack of picking tunes that slot together in perfection when they get mixing is an understatement.
Anything Lana Del Rey at the moment is hotter than Venus, so it’s a fair bet that this will rocket-up. Check out this mighty powerhouse of Jay-Z, Pharrell & Lana Del Rey with the track, "Allure (OTTR)."

Two of New York City’s and part of the world’s sexiest DJs (next to NERVO) are back behind the decks, lasing-out more mega-pop dance tracks for our listening pleasure. The Jane Doze with "Born to Feel Beef" reworks Lana Del Rey’s "Born to Die (Gemini Remix)," Calvin Harris’ "Feel So Close," and Steve Aoki & Afrojack’s "No Beef." Quite a mouthful, eh? The end result, a mash-up worthy of some good airtime.

What does that have to do with her as a musician and an artist? Plastic surgery ain't got shit to do with talent! "Fake or not, she is good looking and is even better sounding."
Born To Die by Lana Del Rey
Off her upcoming debut comes official audio for the fourth single and title track to Born To Die. There's really no reason to hate her after putting out sexy music like "Blue Jeans" and "Video Games." Now out comes "Born To Die," another addition to the collection of film-like sounding productions but without scratching an infectious tune.
"Born To Die" one of the reasons why we like Lana Del Rey. Her old school Hollywood glamour theme and the sexy vocals to go along with the help of cinematic visuals tops it all off. She still does not compare to the female heavy wights like Florence Welch and the likes of Adele but hey, she's getting there. She does rock the same style anyway. The track drops on January so enjoy the official audio on video for now.
Album: Born To Die by Lana Del Rey
While on tour and constantly performing in Europe, blog-world sensation Lana Del Rey made an important announcement regarding her awaited debut album during her very last stop of the tour. The announcement came after a performance of her widely popular "Video Games" via French television program, Taratata. Album is set to drop very early next year, early as in January and it will be called Born to Die (or Born 2 Die) and will be under Interscope Records.
Her fourth release will be the title track and will be released real soon so stay-tuned. Check out a video of her as she debuts the track in a concert she did in Paris.
