Video: 1996 by The Wombats
With an already successful year in-hand, British-indie rock band, The Wombats, are not about to give it a rest. They are out with another release, a video off their second studio album, The Wombats Proudly Present: This Modern Glitch album via 14th Floor Records.
I'm really not sure what is being portrayed in the "1996" video but based on the title... The mid-90's? Maybe going for a metaphor on how relatively easy life was when they were in their teen years? Or maybe just a simple a scuba-themed party with a lot of drinking. Not really sure. But what I'm sure of is that this is a fun and enjoyable track with its dance-rock vibe and catchy vocals to go along.
