The Drums have had a little hot-streak in their return to the indie spotlight only highlighted more by the wonderfully tripped Trentemøller remix of  "Days." From the clips and clops to the steering of the soft chords this really can’t ever go wrong… The best thing about this hasn’t been the oddly translated big room conversion, just a well complimented remix of a quint Drums song. Although "Money," The Drums' first single off Portamento, was released back in August of last year on Island Records, Basement Jaxx silently released a remix of the track on their soundcloud account. The remix is pure Basement Jaxx in that it sounds like everything and nothing they have released before. They are kings at creating a fusion within their international influences and blending their maximalist tendencies with the simplicity of the underlying track. (via EARMILK)
