Black To White (Clockwork Remix) by Felix Cartal

Felix Cartal is a Vancouver DJ/producer with a penchant for vocal electro house, and a talent for making popular tracks out of the unexpected. He just released a fantastic full-length effort in March titled Different Faces. He’s been touring on a hectic 2-4 date per week schedule with Clockwork. It’s my great pleasure to present to you today an exciting new collaboration between the two which features the lovely vocals of Miss Palmer. The track is called "Black to White," and is an absolute banger, as you will shortly hear. (via Salacious Sound)

Don't Turn On The Lights (Laidback Luke Remix) by Felix Cartal

Felix is out with a club-thumping new track that features vocals from Polina, a singer who has collaborated with both Steve Aoki and Kaskade in the past. The video is out, making its debut on MTV, and the slew of MTV’s promotional divisions.

The single is the first from the electronic DJ/producer’s upcoming album, ‘Different Faces’ – one that he says is meant to showcase a brand new sound and direction that the performer intends to take.

“Felix Cartal is part of a new breed of young producers taking elements of his contemporaries and making a massive sound.” ~ Steve Aoki

MTV News had the chance to talk to Felix about the song that he thinks is one of “catchiest” he’s ever done.

“The first single ‘Don’t Turn On The Lights’ is a chance for me to try some more memorable melodies. I really wanted to create something that people could hum along to, something that they would recognize instantly, but still with powerful, hard-hitting production behind it. Polina’s vocals really helped bring this song together to make it one of the catchiest songs I feel that I’ve ever produced.”
