Say No Go (Bobby C Sound TV Remix) by De La Soul

Always good to hear old school music back in the mix. Especially coming from one of the pioneers of real hip-hop, De La Soul. Bobby C doing good work to this classic, putting out the funk to the already funky, rockin' the instrumentals more than ever. Although changing the track's genre a bit but not disrespecting it's entirety only making it more dance floor friendly. Certified funky tune by A.N.T.

Fela Soul

I came across this article and the album art looked really familiar so I decided to scan and listen-in. Turns out, it was worth it. Funky horns and sick rhymes? C'mon! What could possibly be wrong about that?!

Says World of Underground Hip-Hop:

"What do you get when you put together afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and rap pioneers De La Soul? You get Fela Soul; a musical tapestry created by Gummy Soul artist Amerigo Gazaway. More than just a clever title, Fela Soul is an 8-track, 33 minute journey into the world of afrobeat rhythms, funky horn riffs,  and classic hip-hop gems. Using dozens of  hand-picked samples from the Nigerian instrumentalist and political figure Fela Kuti, and 8 carefully-chosen acapellas from the Native Tongue rap trio De La Soul, Amerigo seamlessly intertwines the two into something completely new and original."
