Theraflu (feat. DJ Khaled) by Kanye West
The other night, Funkmaster Flex debuted “Theraflu,” a brand-new out-of-nowhere solo track from Kanye West. The track features DJ Khaled, and beyond his pitched-up bellowing and Flex’s tags and explosions, there’s a lot standing in the way of actually hearing the song. But it’s a seriously strong performance, all hard snarls over a bleepy late-’90s-style beat. And it also finds Kanye getting surprisingly personal, at least for a couple of lines, about his long-rumored relationship with Kim Kardashian. (via Stereogum)
The whole industry wanna fuck ya old chick, only nigga I got respect for is Wiz. And I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim, around the same time she had fell in love with him.
