For the third year in a row, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie have teamed up for a Summertime mixtape. But this particularly release is extra special because it features some brand-new rhymes from the Fresh Prince himself. That’s right, Will Smith put his rapper cap back on for the first time in a long while to spit some new bars for a remake of his and Jeff’s classic single, “Summertime." On the third day of Christmas a DJ gave to me... The legend, DJ Jazzy Jeff on the decks with MC Mad Skillz for a copy of a 2-hour set he did live from Fukuoka, Japan to end properly his Asian tour.

Last night's experience at 7th High was amazing! A one night only gig with no other than The Magnificent, DJ Jazzy Jeff. So here I am posting a little something to honor his presence here in the Metro.

So if last night wasn't enough, wait till you get a load of this! I found a Jazzy Jeff mixtape over the internet caled "My Faves: Volume 1." A compilation of some of his favorites that was reportedly found lying around his crib. We got some Biggie, some Jay-Z and Nas. It's not really new, but hearing it for the first time just brings you back to the event that was last night.
