The Temper Trap are pulling out all of the stops for their second album. Not only have they recorded at the famed Sound Factory in LA, but they also decided to round things out with producer Tony Hoffer, who mildly influenced the output of Beck, M83 & Phoenix. Their second album will be called The Temper Trap. Honestly, a rite of passage for every band should be to make their first or second album self-titled. The Temper Trap is officially “in” according to my book now.
But it doesn’t stop there. The Temper Trap gave their fans a listen to their first single from their forthcoming album titled “Rabbit Hole”. This single not only met expectations, but may have exceeded them already. Their new album will be released this coming summer so stick around. (via MUF)
