Another gloomy day in the Metro. Typhoon just entered the PAR (Philippine Area of Responsibility) and weather is starting to get a bit chilly. What's good to play during this situation? I highly recommend Freddie JO-AH-KIM music. The hip-hop, jazz, and soul music producer has done it again with his version of 90's British R&B duo, Floetry featuring the soulful lyrics of Mr. Common. The single, "SupaStar," off their second album, Flo'Ology.
The song itself already has a natural happy vibe goin', it just naturally makes you smile whenever you listen to it. But Freddie carefully played with the two main elements of the group, the songstress and the floacist, not to ruin the original but rather to give it an upgrade. Adding more soul to the already soulful, more snare to the snares, and louder looping beats to add jump.
