The indie-synth duo of Sarah Barthel (another favorite) and Josh Carter a.k.a. Phantogram has been hard at work at their latest creation, the Nightlife EP. The EP will feature 6 signature tracks that are due for release this coming November 1st via Barsuk. "16 years" will be the first track of the mini-album. A live set they recently did of the song is now being featured in MOOG's Sound Lab...
Another cut from the album is the most recent one called "Don't Move," which is second in the list. Loops of trip-hop goodness, upbeat and with natural warm vocals from the jiggly vocalist. The group describes the song as an extension to their first album, "retaining its synth/horn stabs punctuating another of the group’s hip-hop-inspired beats." Track list after the jump.
