Remixes of Sneaky Sound System just keep on coming out of Modular Records! This time Felix Bloxsom from Plastic Plates has decided to take a crack at one of the Australian band’s tracks titled “Friends.” As per usual, Plastic Plates has managed to take a relatively funky original and make it funkier! By incorporating his own assortment of incredibly groovy basslines, dancefloor percussion, and disco laden melodies, Plastic Plates turns “Friends” into an even greater dance groove! You’re probably thinking, “here comes another bomb” and you’re right! This is actually pretty amazing. If we put together RAC and Gigamesh, probably this is going to sound to something epic. However, this track is from 2010! Surprised? Well, the main reason of this article is basically to show you and me as well, that music sometimes it’s just a matter of timing. This brilliant remix from Gigamesh for this single “If You Forget Me” is not new but at the time nobody actually heard it, because at the time both projects were just starting. I’m just trying to show everyone (mainly newcomers) that if you work really hard and if you’re persistent, maybe one day you’ll also be recognized!
