Bad Bitches (feat. Stunnaman & Lil B) by Star Slinger
Star Slinger is no stranger to working with hip-hop artists. Stunnaman is super boring here and Lil B doesn’t even rap, so I guess you can keep it. Big fan of Star Slinger but not so much of this one. It's just alright for my taste.
We Stay Up All Night (Star Slinger Remix) by Buraka Som Sistema
Finally a new release from one of my favorite beat makers, Star Slinger. As a new year's gift putting-up his remix on the Dutch House influenced production, "We Stay Up All Night" by Buraka Som Sistema featuring Blaya and Roses Gabor. Star Slinger as usual killing it on the decks. His version of a tamed-down and progressive dubstep creation. Superb!
Before I Move Off (Star Slinger Refix) by Mount Kimbie
UK's Star Slinger remolds Mount Kimbie's "Before I Move Off," a song that was made with remix potential. He ups the emphasis on the vocal sample and adds some backbone to the almost bass-less original track. If you heard Slinger's version and didn't know it was a remix, you might not have guessed that these two tracks were connected in the first place (via Prefix).
We Found Love (Star Slinger Refix) by Rihanna
Couldn't resist another post because of this one. Damn this guy Star Slinger! Definitely one of my favorite producers of all time! Check this, "We Found Love" by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris is one of the most overplayed tracks we have to date and I'm no fan. Slinger, however, gives it refix treatment that just changes everything. Not only is it now bearable, it is now worth the listen. Merry Christmas everyone! Cheers from #ANT
Peso (Star Slinger Refix) by A$AP Rocky
Up and coming still? I don't think so. Star Slinger making it clear that he is the next big star. Now he has another to add to the portfolio with a remix of a real up-and-comer, rapper A$AP Rocky and his latest single, "Peso."
Original coming from Rocky's recent, LiveLoveA$AP mixtape. Like the re-work? Stream or download Slinger after the skip
Over My Dead Body (Star Slinger Jetlag Edit) by Drake
With the popularity and success of Toronto MC, Drake's latest record Take Care, UK-based producer Star Slinger decides to release his version of this year's best rap album's opening track "Over My Dead Body."
What could be more awesome than one of my favorite producers remixing one of my favorite tracks from Drizzy's album? Star Slinger pushing up the tempo, with more taps and elements, adding another level of greatness to the original. Making this one of the best Star Slinger remixes to date. Definitely worth the listen!

Moët & Reese by Star Slinger
A favorite has done it again! No need for introductions for this guy because he already single handedly made a name for himself. For those who are out of the loop, Star Slinger's remixes are of the greats. His latest offering "Moët & Reese" is upbeat, fresh and bright.
Word is that the track was written and recorded in his tour van while on the move. Always consistent with his work this genius is. Proving to everyone his versatility with making music. It doesn't matter whether he is at home, in the studio, doing it live or on the go, what matters is that the music is always gold.
Dumbin' (feat. Reggie B) (Diplo Remix) by Star Slinger
A regular favorite from another regular favorite. Star Slinger's incredible debut single, Dumbin', gets a not so much needed but awesome nonetheless re-work from our friendly neighborhood DJ/producer, Diplo.
Original was marked Star Slinger (that's why it's an original) with the usual chopped-up vocals and ear-friendly loops that give out that tropical sounding warmness with the help of course of Reggie B. Diplo, on the other hand, drops the bomb with aggression. Moombahton-ish but with more electricity and the good ol' bangin' of the cymbals like his life depended on it.
Video: Punch Drunk Love by Teams vs. Star Slinger
I've had this track in my library for quite a while now. First heard the same day I discovered the sick skills of the man they call the answer to J Dilla, Star Slinger. I remember going ape-shit over his tracks, downloading every single one with his name on it. And that is the story of how I got a hold of this one.
"Punch Drunk Love" is a fusion of soul and dance then back to more soul. A soul-infused boom-bap is what they call it. Teaming-up with LA-based Teams to provide that added youthful element to the final.
Dumbin' (feat. Reggie B) by Star Slinger
An official single finally debuts for the UK-based remix master, Star Slinger, exclusively from Green Label Sound. Work is gradually paying off for Darren Williams. Not only does he already get attention from a number of notable artists because of his brilliantly made remixes, but this time, a record label to officially brand him. "Dumbin" is an original of him featuring R&B's Reggie B to lend him vocals. Inspiration, according to him, was drawn from experimenting on house and hip-hop music influences in order to create something fresh. Kind of a new genre of his own. Watch his intro video after the jump to learn a little bit more about Star Slinger.
You Can (Star Slinger Remix)
Looks like I found a new song to play on repeat. "You Can" is a single from the album Social Studies under OM Records by Body Language. Can't say much about them since it's my first time to encounter their music but I can tell they have good tracks based from this single. They seem to have this dark 80's vibe going... Simple video and beautiful vocals after the jump.
But I wasn't talking about the original when I said "play on repeat." It is actually the remixed version created by one of my favorite producers and remix master, Star Slinger. I've been waiting a while now for a release and then this comes out. Masterful looping and wicked beats to revamp the original. Really addicting! Check it out.

Crisp As Fabric Mixtape by Star Slinger

New Beat (Star Slinger Dancehall Mix) by Toro Y Moi
Remix master Star Slinger got to work on Toro y Moi's track called "New Beat" and now it is out for the people to be heard. Instead of opting for the typical dance beat, he went with a more unique style of 'riddim' which is more danchehall/reggae. Stream and download after the skip.
