Video: Hurting by Friendly Fires
Friendly Fires out with new visuals for their funk-tastic track, "Hurting," off their recent record Pala. A bizarre affair between a woman with a really long legs and an even more longer neck and a dude with a TV for a head with that shirt again. Very comical for a number of reasons (via We All Want Someone To Shout For).
So what is the moral of the story? To never give-up despite constant rejection. This simple yet bizarre story directed by David Lewandoski has visions of a disco dance feel to compliment the soundtrack (via EARMILK). Check it out and hear it get better on every listen.
Hurting (Tensnake Remix) by Friendly Fires
German producer Tensnake has done it again with a brilliant remix of "Hurting" by Friendly Fires from their album Pala. I was first introduced to his work about a year ago with an original of his called "Coma Cat" and from their on, it was consistent and smooth sailing with his music. I advise everyone to hear this track out especially with the gloomy weather we're having today. Something to bump up the mood. I'm definitely making it my jam for today. Why not make it yours too?

Hurting
"Hurting," a song from UK band, Friendly Fires', 2nd full-length album, Pala, gets a sleek re-make from Washington DC's production duo, Benoit & Sergio. Nothing went wrong with this one. Elements of the song were handled well and the nu-disco theme applied with perfection, resulting in a 7 minutes seduction.
