In an industry within which the word “epic” has lost its meaning due to over-usage, few really embody the true meaning of the word. Eric Prydz is worthy of such a title though, and the reclusive DJ, who has become omnipresent as of late, headlining his first US Tour since 2007, releasing a Beatport Chart and a 3-CD LP, and starting up his very own podcast on Itunes. "EPIC Radio," short for Eric Prydz in Concert, is a brilliantly mixed synthy one-hour progressive house podcast featuring some incredible works.

Easily one of my favorite songs for 2011. M83's "Midnight City" is not necessarily a new track by any standard but that doesn't mean getting a "private" remix from Swedish DJ and producer extraordinaire, Eric Prydz, is not worth the attention. Although many don't know squat about Mr. Prydz probably because of his fear of flying (not setting foot on other soils), this legend is way up there with his high quality mixes and sets.

While the original is a thought evoking, dream inducing, serotonin producing masterpiece, it also leaves alot of room for remixing with the soft vocal and synths. Mr. Prydz did what he does best to this track by speeding up the tempo and giving it the uplifting prog-house feel that he’s mastered over his many years. Beautiful. (via SoundLogik)

Swedish DJ and producer, Eric Prydz, is at it again with a remix of the track  premiered a few hours ago on Pete Tong's Essential Selection via BBC Radio 1. I suggest you whip out the headphones and turn up the volume for this one. You will want to play it again and again.
