Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has been slowly revealing more and more of his forthcoming album over the last couple of months, with the massive "Tapes & Money" single being released with a slew of top notch remixes. Tapes & Money by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (Orlando Higginbottom) swung by Annie Mac‘s Radio 1 studio earlier tonight to give her the premiere of his new track "Tapes & Money," taken from his forthcoming untitled album. Mixtape: Mix For 6 Music by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Here is an hour long treat from Orlando Higginbottom. No, he is not wizard and no, he is not a part of any of the Harry Potter series. He is more known as one of the most successful deep-house producers in the business. Everyone knows him as the man behind Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, known for music that exceeds the definition of deep house.
Being part of the more unorthodox producers in the business, it is a given that his talents also exceed the boundaries of just production. With shows well crafted and precise that easily pulls his name up that ladder more and more. Here is a collection of what he is all about with a mixtape for his 6 mix show on BBC 6music for the month of November.
Dream On by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Building the release of their debut album on February 2012, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs shares with us a free download of a newly made track called "Dream On." In T.E.E.D. fashion, the track is a smooth mix of quality vocals and 4x4 beats. The usual music which swings between overt musicality and dance (via last.fm).
For something like this to just be given away, the upcoming album could be something far more greater than what we have in hand.
Garden (Remixes) EP by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs or T.E.E.D., if you're having a hard time with the name, are one of the few artists that exhibit a mixture individual elements from a variety of sources to create a unique style of music. Imagine chill and dancehall music in one which makes them stand out among others. To what starts out as a steady serene flow of beats that eventually get you dancing on your feet.
This EP features more unique interpretations of an already unique production from T.E.E.D. While some are unusual and out of tune, surprisingly, they still work as a whole. Listen-in for yourself and hit the skip.
