Mixtape: A Tribute to the Life & Sound of J Dilla by DJ Complex
Last night was all love as Manila (along with the others celebrating around the world) paid tribute and respect to the legend, James "J Dilla/Jay Dee" Yancy and the sixth anniversary of his passing. In honor of his legacy, being one of the most influential producers of all time, Adidas and M Cafe collaborated to set-up a gathering wherein everything and anything Dilla was a requirement. With DJs like DJ Complex and Nix Damn P on the decks mixing the most cherished Dilla material that will forever be on rotation.
If you missed last night, don't worry, I got your back. I'm fortunate enough to have a copy of the mixtape being given out to those who came early. A shout out to Nix Damn P for saving me a copy.
